SSB Directly from an AD9854 DDS Back in mid-September, I was able to get an far eastern sourced AD9854 DDS board running using parallel mode control with a Pico 2. I could generate cw tones, AM & PM (FM), but wasn't successful, at all, in trying to generate SSB by simultaneously AM-ing and PM-ing the board with a synthetic audio tone. That was because I naively thought that was it - AM & PM/FM at the same time without any regard for control update timing frequency and sequencing. I continued stumbling along with some help from Claude, but just wasn't getting anywhere or asking Claude to do the right things. I set the project aside for a bit.
